Dog park has been cleaned and reopened. Please remember that DDAWG volunteers clean and open the park AFTER the town cleans the facility roads. Dog poop carries many diseases that can affect you and your pet if not picked up, bagged and placed in the trash barrels at the dog park. DDAWG provides multiple dog poop dispensers on the way to the park and inside the dog park. The town of Dartmouth provides the trash barrels and empties them weekly. Please do your part to help keep our pups safe AND protect the environment.
The following pamphlet is provided by the Westport River Watershed Alliance to illustrate the effects of dog waste.
Please help us to maintain a clean dog park area from the parking lot to the enclosure for all of us to continue to enjoy!

They usually last between 30-40 minutes. Hopefully there will be an update from Parks and Recreation department and the Town of Dartmouth officials on the progress of building the Permanent Dog Park.
The final plans were approved 1 year ago by the Conservation Commission. The previous two projects ahead of us have been completed, so we anxiously await the start of this one!
